Having worked with The Metropolitan Police, Rage Design have a long background working with Public Sector organisations. Rage Design have designed cutting edge logos and branding concepts for many new community based programmes including the Kickz programme which now has the support of many well known Premier Football Clubs including Manchester United, West Ham, Arsenal, Chelsea and Aston Villa. The idea behind this concept is for Football Clubs to work with young people and introduce them to training programs including playing and management. Rage Design were responsible for creating the Kickz logo, this was achieved with the feedback of young people who were involved in focus groups. Rage Design also created all associated collateral material for football clubs, participants and parents.

Rage Design also created the logo, branding and all associated collateral and exhibition material for the ASBO Act that was introduced and rolled out through The Met Police. The concepts Rage Design created have now been rolled out across the UK to many other Police Forces.

Most recently Rage Design have been working on three Website projects with the Met Police - these include The Black Police Association, The YBPA and Voyage. The Black Police Association is an organisation within the force offering memberships for ethnic origin Police Officers and all related staff and help with advice on day to day work and employment issues.

Voyage and YBPA are community based programs that work with young ethic people, structured to assist them in building positive futures and offering Btec related qualifications. These are also social programs that allow young people to share experiences with friends in South Africa, America and the Caribbean. Both websites are currently in development and when launched will offer a learning, social and information based portal.

Rage Design was assigned the task of designing the logo and branding for the Metropolitan Police's Kickz social program. This also included all other attributed material including posters, application forms and fliers. Rage Design were also involved in the organization of a focus group with young people to ask a series of questions to arrive at the right image and logo design. Rage Design took the ideas of the young people on board and created the logo now seen at many Premier and Championship clubs. Rage Design have since provided promotional material for a number of clubs including Fulham, Charlton and Queens Park Rangers. The origins of the Kickz program was to use the power of football and the appeal of professional clubs, the programme targets some of the most disadvantaged areas of the country. Kickz offers 12-18 year olds the chance to take part in positive activity three nights a week, 48 weeks of the year. Rage Design has recently celebrated a decade of working with the Met Police. During this time we have partnered in providing ground break solutions reaching many different social groups and delivering very concise information. From Logo design to building comprehensive websites, our creative solutions have benchmarked the need for effective design in Public Sector programs.

Rage Design was employed by the Met Police to design all associated material for the launch of the ASBO act. We were assigned with the task of creating a logo, branding, folders, exhibition material and promotional items. The purpose of the campaign was to inform and advise all related partners, intermediaries and agencies on the implications of the ASBO act and how this would impact on their own organisations . Once the logo was agreed we then moved to design all the promotional material. Because the nature of the project was to create awareness and education for local authorities it was imperative to create information packs that would be absorbed with relevant and digestible content. As the project continued we were briefed to help create visual components for ASBO workshops with local authorities. Rage Designs involvement included the design of exhibition displays, Multimedia Movies, Give Aways and an interactive CD rom which contained all the legal documents and templates.

Working with the Met Police, Rage Design helped design and create the many components to support the Voyage Program. The Voyage Project was up for Young Leaders for Safer Cities Leadership programme in a ground breaking training course, targeting year 9 & 10 black students from schools across London's inner city. The central aim of the programme is to develop young people with greater social responsibility and leadership capacity. The programme commences with a 6-day residential programme and then further learning over a forty-five week period. The VOYAGE team is in the process of customizing this programme to become a BTEC short course qualification. The overall level of the programme when accredited will be level 2 (GCSE equivalent). Reaching out to this target group, Rage Design created all supporting material including a new website, a logo, branding, all holding material for training, folders, literature, application forms and posters. Rage Design in partnership with the Met Police created the identity for Voyage based on critical elements that would reach out to young people. This was imperative in the design of the logo and branding. The new website which is currently being designed and will hold many important components to readily provide information critical in the running of the scheme. The new Voyage website is due for release early 2009 with many new features. For More information about Voyage Read On.
