News - June 2009 - Rage Design and their client Haringtons Scoop Top Website Award!

Rage Design and their Client, Haringtons Hairdressing, won a national Franchise Hairdresssing award on Monday night for the 'Most Effective Website'. Haringtons, who have eleven salons in the South West magnificently scooped the award from other hairdressing businesses, which included some of the well known high street brands. The Sapphires Franchise Awards was staged at the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London and was one of the major industry events of the year. Haringtons and Rage Design were presented the award for the Most Affective Website. The judges of the event presented Haringtons the website award for the Unique Design, Navigation, Usability, Visitor Focus, The Online Booking System and the Shopping Cart.

News - December 2008

Rage Design has successfully won the project work to complete a new website build for The Met Police. These includes a new website site design for the YBPA. The brief for this project is to build a website that reaches out to the Youth of London building positive social groups and promoting education. The website will also be geared up to tackle and address gun and knife crime and provide an open forum for young people to discuss the real issues affecting their lives.

News - August 2008

Rage Design has successfully won the project work to complete two websites for The Met Police. These include a new website site design for the Black Police Association. The brief for this project is to build a secure based website with content management, shopping cart, members and executive areas. This project is due for launch early in the new year. We were also commissioned a new website project for Voyage, a youth based project aimed at young people who are also offered the opportunity of studying Btec qualifications.

News - May 2008 - Rage Design Redesign Website for Solo Sports, The UK's distributor for Prince Sports and Arena Swimwear.

Rage Design has just completed an information website for Solo Sports. Promoting Europes leading swimwear range. With the use of animated catalogue technology the range is displayed with the effect of a real life brochure. Solo Sports are based in the North East of England having sole rights to distribute sporting goods for Prince Sports and Arena Swimwear.

News - February 2008 - Rage Design wins contract with Met Police to create an information based website for victims of family based violence.

Rage Design has been awarded a new social based project with the Met Police with the important and sensitive subject of family based violence. The website is being designed to offer specific information, assistance and help with individuals who maybe suffering and needing advice and support. It is imperative that the design and balance of the website allows speed of access, revelant information and designed accordingly to be welcoming and appropriate.

News - January 2008 - Rage Design works with Hearing Dogs Charity to Design a Fresh Look to maximize donations and subscriptions.

Hearing Dogs, a UK based charity established to train hearing dogs for deaf people. Hearing Dogs for Deaf People was launched at the world famous Crufts Dog Show in 1982. Since then they have continued to train dogs to alert deaf people to specific sounds, whether in the home, workplace or public buildings. To date we have placed more than 1,400 hearing dogs throughout England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands. These life changing pets bring a great deal of independence to individuals living with hearing loss or deafness. The brief for this project is to bring a fresh design and reconstruct the look, feel and navigation of the website. Additionally to maximize visitors through Search Engine Optimisation and the re-design of the online shopping cart. News - March 2007 - Rage Design is awarded New Website Design Project for Award Winning Hair Dressing Group - Haringtons

Haringtons the award winning group of hairdressing salons tendered the website project to Rage Design. The brief for this project was to re-design the old website and bring the look and feel of the website up to date and in turn make the website as future proof as possible. Designed with accessibility and ease of navigation in mind, the Haringtons website will include an impressive style section, help and advice, a shopping cart which will boast over 300 Loreal, Kerastase and Rekin products. Due for launch in January 2008, this website will certainly be one to look out for.

Causeway, the leading software solutions provider for the construction industry approached Rage Design and requested a comprehensive optimization programme to improve ranking positioning of major keywords and phrases associated with their key services.
